I need to know how to reinstall an expired software download.

You're never going to get that done in the Registry, but I'm sure you can waste a lot of time trying! I suggest buying the program, or turning back your computer's clock so that the software still thinks it's in the valid time. As a last resort, wipe your hard drive clean, reinstall windows, then reinstall your demo program. Repeat at the end of the next trial period.

go to Start and click on Run. type regedit and press Enter
I don't recommend making changes to your registry unless you absolutely have to...
