YES!!!!!!!!!!! For cripes sakes the man got drunk. Who hasn't? The man said something stupid and he regrets it. Who hasn't? Please just because he is famous does not mean he is not human. Let it go. i'll bet that that's all we hear about for at least 2 more weeks. *eye roll*
There are much more important things to freak out over.

Mel made a mistake. Let he that is without sin cast the first stone. I am not a Jew basher and I support Israel but Hollywood is controlled by those of the Jewish faith. After his success with the Passion of Christ he is going to catch a lot of criticism and reticule. His career will no doubt suffer but he has enough money to survive. I do believe if similar remarks were made about Christians it would not have received as much publicity.
So enough about Mel. There are more important issues in the world.

Yes. It's a shame that the Media seems to have zeroed in on this man. Then again Jesus said that Mel is blessed. Yes we are all blessed when people casts insults against you on account of Jesus.
It's funny as I type this Fox news reports more bad news for Mel Gibson. He's blessed again.

Making such statements, considering the state of the middle east, is taking a risk, but he chose to show his true colours -- despite his lie to Barbara Walters 2 years ago that he is not anti-Jewish. Liar!

He is also very homophobic, so it seems like he has issues. Maybe a good dry-out session will help him to mature.

I agree! Leave him aloe. He was drunk, he's human, he makes mistakes! If he was an average guy we would not be reading about it in the paper. The only good that can come out of this is that he goes for rehab and gets it together.

Yes especially since he apologized
He did wrong, but give the guy a break
Some people will not, but most can and should
P.S. Have you ever made a mistake
Of course we all have--so its break time world

Thanks

oh yeah. The world needs less news coverage about an alcoholic, anti semetic, overpaid, over rated hollywood has been, and more coverage on those dying every day in Iraq and Lebanon.

Yes - he's a celebrity and everyone buys into the hype! It was a mistake and he was under the influence. Nobody's perfect!

It was a terrible thing to say, but it's done - move on!!
