It's not your weight, I know a few women that were bigger than that when they got pregnant. The best thing for you to do is not stress over it and if you smoke or drink stop those and drink less caffeine and eat healthy foods. But the main thing is don't stress when it is meant to be it will be. I wish you all the best!!!

I've read 18 responses ang I agreed with the ones that say its not your weight. You're trying to hard, relax. If you're female: count from the start of your cycle. You won't get pregnant during the first 7-9 days. After that its open season. Keep a record of your cycles. And relax. Don't have sex for awhile. Male sperm count may be way down. And if you can afford it, get a doc to check fertility on both your and your partner.

Your weight can affect you ability to conceive. Try to make your diet a bit healthier not necessarily to lose weight but to give your body all the essentials it needs. I would see a specialist to rule out any other problems. If you stop "trying" this sometimes works as you are more relaxed. These things worked for me and I know have 3 beautiful girls. good luck.

drink one cup of black tea every day. you can add sugar but not milk. i read this in a study and it has worked for several friends. don't drink more than one cup or the caffiene will interfere. don't take any advil or naproxen. and yeah, try to lose some weight, too. but mostly, focus on getting a healthy body for the baby, not all the guilt about weightand all that junk about trying to deprive yourself, etc. good luck!

2 weeks after your period ends. That's when to conceive. You might want to try to loose some weight first because your only gonna gain more when being pregnant. It's extremely hard loose after pregnancy especially when you will be spending all and I mean all your time with your baby.

I don't know if weight would really matter, but if you try to get healthier, you may have a better chance. You should be taking better care of yourself anyway if you want to be around for your child, plus you need to be a good role model for them, health wise.
I would go see a doc, and good luck!
