I think the '60s and '70s had awesome music....except maybe disco....but I still listen to it.

i think the 60's and the 70's because most of the music genres we know nowadays was born within those years. With the debut of the beatles in america dawns rock music we know today. Another case, we always here a lot of remake of 60's and 70's songs. Rock (all types acid, hard, soft), blues, jazz, new age, pop (although pop has been more developed during the 80's). all came from these years.
