flutes are usually made of silver if so use a silver polish;but ill bet its plated and if so it will haveft to be re plated. your teacher can also instruct you on your situation. if silver polish works its made of silver, if it makes no difference then its probably plated. good luck and i apologize for some of the sick answers you are getting.

Could try some silver polish...if that doesnt work rent one for the day so it looks good and take yours in to have it cleaned.

Is it silver? Do you have any silver polish? Most houses have silver polish hidden away under the cabinet somewhere. Just rub it down with that.
