He is the host of TDS, a one-time host of the Academy Awards, and one of the most influential personalities of our time---a political satirist and a person with rare charisma and exceptional communicative skills.

However, professionally speaking, does Jon Stewart really possess characteristics that define a successful leader/communicator? What are they? How can an average person learn from him? Please share your thoughts!

Yes. He found an audience in the demographic that is often overlooked when it comes to the news, and appealed to them. His show is a prime example of a reason not to listen to stereotypes and assumptions. People assumed that the 14-30 crowd would never be interested in the news, and he found a way to make them interested. That says a lot.

Stewart is nothing more than a marxist propagandist. The sole source of his success is his willingness to do or say anything that advances the evil agenda of these people.

He could never make it on his own....which is why almost 100% of what he says fits this mold. I mean, come on, if he had even a shred of talent, he would occassionally say something humorous or worth watching that wasn't nazi propaganda. But, that's so rare that you can watch several episodes of the Daily Show and not see a single thing not meant to distort various issues to try and influence people in a rather sick way.

The man is pond scum.

Let's just say - I would do a lot of things to see Jon Stewart run for president in 2008. And I would not be surprised, at all, if he won.

YES, he is. He doesn't cloud anything on his comments, and doesn't beat around the bush (he'll probably beat Bush in the polls). Remember, they've found weapons of...MINOR...destruction.
