Masking the fax number ie. send a fax to a local number but the local fax machine you sent it to thinks it came from europe or something ie. a european number is displayed on the fax at the recepients end !

You start by breaking the law. Using a fax to comit fraud was outlawed almost 20 years ago.

But if you were to break the law by say REPROGRAMMING the fax machine's local number and date configuration (manuals for most are available online) you could make it appear that the fax came from over seas. Reprogram the name with UK spellings and number formats.

Maybe you can program the sending fax number into the fax machine? For example, if the number on the phone line is 999-999-9999, program the fax to print whatever number you want instead.

Meet a foriegn person on the net, and have them send the fax from their country. Simple

you are probably trying to do something you shouldn't be. Just don't do it if you can't do it as yourself using your own phone number
