They are just as bad, my wife had a cyber affair and it hurt alot!

Well I believe they are both. Depending on the person cyber affairs can be just as dangerous and real as any affair in real life. But I say if you know how to just have fun with it and don't bring all your feelings and stuff into it from your everyday life I say it can be just as innocent. But you have to make sure both parties realize it is just for fun. So one person isn't all hurt or take something way too far.

They are as destructive as real life affairs as they arise from the same "guilty mind" as an in the flesh or real life affair.
The excuse that they are OK because they weren't validated by the flesh carries little weight in the mind of the injured faithful partner when knowledge of the cheating surfaces.

this is a double edge sword .....Any emotional involvement with another person other than the person your married too could be considered cheating but then again you dont get the phyciality of the whole thing.....which is worse having someone emotionally envolped and not being able to have the physcial aspect of it .........Either which way you look at it its comprimised.

It is just as bad and in fact is becoming legally just as bad-I just went through this and can tell you. The hurt is the same whether the person is real or just on the computer.

They can be just as bad because some people can believe they are just as real and have the same feelings for a "idea" of a person as they do for a real person.
"Idea" meaning that some people fake who they are and unless you meet that person you can never really know an online person for who they really are.

Any time you are seeking someone outside your relationship is cheating. Instead of being with your partner you are looking for something else.. If your unhappy then either work it out or be single
