I don't know that he did himself all THAT much damage. Let's face it, he lost the Jewish moviegoers with Passion of the Christ, and possibly a good portion of the non-Christian crowd as well. I know that, even before this, I would never pay another dime to see anything he was involved in. This episode of Jew-bashing won't make much of a difference to the millions of moviegoers who made "Passion" a hit, it's quite probably what many of them believe anyhow.

Nah, there won't be much of a lasting effect. He has apologized profusely and it seemed very sincere to me.

More importantly (to his career), he is a talented actor and director who has two hundred million "Screw You" dollars in the bank! Cash talks in Hollywood.

Yes,he really has. It's too bad,for the most part he does good work,but now all some people will think of him is that he's an
anti-Semite. It will blow over,though.
