the advice i got was great however i wanted to add this
I have liked him for 4 years when i first meant him he was going out with a friend of mine and me and him hit it off (as friends) but i developed a crush i didn't say anything but then they broke up (nothing crazy they just were better as friends they are still really close) so after a while i still liked him so i told him he never said if he liked me or not he just said he didn't want to date anyone at the moment i dropped it but still have feelings for him I don't even know why i just do

He might still like you but he just wants to play the field a bit or he just needs a break. Give it time. If not, move on.
