We had a good time. Met our neighbors. Found out that we're not the only ones who have been hit by local thieves. Had some hot dogs, hot wings and cake. Met local PD and community action reps.
It's good to have an idea of what goes on in your vicinity. You don't have to adopt them, just say hello one night out of the year.
