Maybe its because when are honest about it then the men throw it up in our face everytime we do tell them the truth. ! Believe me I know from from experience. It is better to keep our secrets of the past in the past, right ? Why bring into a new relationship for. Men always have to bring up the past 1

It's actually not difficult for women (in general) to be honest about past relationships...in fact, we are often TOO honest and then get it held against us...
Whether or not your g/f was promiscuous in the past, has nothing to do with y'alls relationship now...it's quite possible she's had people react negatively and thus isn't as quickly forthingcoming...it's no fun to be judged on what you did before you met someone...apparently they like the person you are now, but sometimes they don't want to hear about some of the experiences that helped make you that person...
Leave it be...it's in the past...couples discussing old relationships and exs tend to end up hearing things they didn't want to, that cause jealousy and problems...leave the past in the past, other than making a relevant reference if something comes up in conversation...

Lots of women are taught to lie about their past relationships... lots of men are taught to lie, also. Men tend to lie by increasing the number of relationships they've had. Women will lie by decreasing the number of relationships... It's mainly because it's believed that most men can't handle the truth. They become very disturbed, or label you a "prostitute" if you've had more than three lovers before him... A woman's dishonesty usually has to do with a man's insecurity...

The answers may vary. She may not want to make you feel uncomfortable or she may not want to live in the past. Do you tell her of your past relationships? Does she ask to hear about it? If she does then it is only fair that she reciprocate. If she isn't asking, then don't tell her and expect the same.
For the record...not only men bring up the past for future character judgements.

well women have a sense of pride and the way society is....women that have had several partners are seen as promiscuous. The fact of the matter is that there are secrets that both women and men would rather not disclose.

It's just that some women have been in really BAD relationships and they might think you're really special and they don't want to admit it 'cause they're scared that you might be interested. Don't worry-It will be out of this stage soon.

b/c men can be sooo judemental, like every woman should be a virgin and have no past, just reassure your lady that u know she is a human and not a nun and that u r ok with her past, then she will tell you. it really doesn't matter b/c now she wants to be w/ u.

it not that its hard, but its the past and what does it really matter to you? I dont like to talk about my past loves . they should stay in the past and live live in the present...
