I'm making a computer and would like to know which processor is better, pentium D or pentium EE.

I don't know anything about a Pentium EE, but you might take a look at an AMD Athlon 64 or Opteron. If you have a lot of money to spend the Athlon 64 FX or the Opteron is smoking hot. I built my brother a computer about a year and a half ago with a Athlon 64 3400+ and it spins cirlces around any pentium I have seen. I make my comparison on doing solid modeling.

pentium EE, hands down the best of the two, and can withstand vigorous testing and can handle a little more stress factor....
