Thanksgiving, by a long shot!
The sharing, the cooking, the smells,
winter, family (squabbles and all), then
seating down for the meal, enjoying
catching up with everybody, and then
the football games! Warmth, warmth,
warmth. How can one beat that!
Even if you spend it helping at homeless
shelters, hospitals, the warmth is overwhelming.
Again, that is a feeling that is priceless and
very hard to obtain now-a-days!
And the next day, if one is lucky, the leftovers.....
Tradition, culture, family, friends.
Yup.
Thanksgiving it is.
