Poor kid. She is so cute and such a good actor. I hope nobody goes to see this movie. It's just wrong to show that sort of stuff, it happens in real life, yes. But it ruins those people's life. Now she will probably be scarred for life. I don't think that her parents should be investigated, but I hope that nothing like this ever happens again.
That kid rocks, athough this movie is just terrible. I'm definetly not going to see or, rent it, buy it, anything. Poor baby.

I really think some parents let their kids go too far when it comes to acting. It's like they get greedy and will agree to let them do just about anything for that mighty dollar!! It's pretty sad-- and sometimes disgusting. While Dakota seems to be very mature for her age, a rape scene, to me, seems totally inappropriate.

First of all -- what freakin' movie is this? That's really disturbing.
IMHO -- probably not. Basically, she isn't being raped -- just portraying the incident. She had a say in it, and chose to. She's nearly -- what? Fourteen, now?
What films and characters she portrays is her decision. Her parents aren't going to let their multi-millionaire baby be abused, for real, obviously. =)

Yeah i reckon when i first read it i couldn't believe what i was reading, how can any adult let a little girl do a scene like that, its for her career i think to her and her family it sounds easier then what it will be. Her parents are supposed to protect her from this sort of thing and they are putting her right in the middle of it all. shame on them

That is awful...I'm sure they will say it was necessary to the movie or the character but thats just stupid talk. How could anyone willingly let their child be involved in that??

I'd rather have a professional experienced actor who understands that its not real do this, than to freak out some poor unexperienced newcomer. She is a brilliant young girl and speaks better than most adults I know.
