Mr.Clean magic erasers work awesome. Then after you do a good scrubbing just get a mop that has a brush on one side and you should be able to keep them really clean without much elbow grease. I work in a hotel and this is how we keep our white grout clean. Bleach is damaging to the grout, so I wouldn't suggest using bleach.

Try a bleach pen...they work great because the bleach in them is gel-like and won't drip off. This is for the grout in a shower...I don't know if that is where the grout is! You should open a window and/or turn the exhaust fan on to get rid of the fumes. If you want a cheaper way to do it, you can use thin strips of rags or paper towels that have been soaked in diluted bleach and stuff that into the corners of the tub and tile and leave for several minutes. Use a q-tip dipped in same for the wall tiles and just trace the grout with it. Again, it is very bad to smell, so open windows and use the exhaust fan and get out as soon as you can. When it is all white, rinse with lots of water.

Shark steam cleaner. Use the concentrator nozzle. All it takes is distilled water. Point and let the steam do all of the work for you. The dirt will roll off of the grout. Just wipe dry. Just did all of the ceramic floors in my house. I steam just about everything clean in this house. I have to avoid chemicals for health reasons and my house cleaning is done in less than half of the time it used to take. The steam doesn't leave any residue. It's great---no more mopping, scrubbing tubs, washing windows, and I can clean the curtains where they hang.

I swear by bleaching the grout for 5 minutes, rinse, and use the Magic Eraser. Works beautifully every time.

It sounds just like the sealer wasn't implemented. you'll be able to re grout however you're going to must kill the mildew in it first. If bleach did not paintings and simply made it darker, I believe it's defiantly now not sealed. It's kinda like while it rains then the sidewalk external turns darker due to the fact it has absorbed probably the most water.

Clorox brand bleach makes these 'bleach sticks' for cleaning stains from pants/shirts/ect. They contain a gel form of bleach and a built in brush on the other side. It works well on grout lines.

Try something like Tilex (a Clorox spray)...spray it on and wait a few minutes...then use an old toothbrush. The fumes are pretty strong from the Tilex, so make sure you have some ventilation or leave the door open.

Take a bucket, fill with hot water and about 1/2 cup of bleach. get a scrub brush and go to work. I've tried all of the commercial products, but seriously, nothing works like water bleach and a little elbow grease!

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers - the heavy duty ones. I've used other techniques, but this one is definitely the best. They also work wonders on the tub/shower areas.
