My friend keeps telling me that the Bible talks about Pandora's Box and I have NEVER heard of that. I mean I know it's a part of Greek mythology but I had no idea that it was ever mentioned in the Bible. Can anyone help me out with where this might be?

Pandora's box is contextually of Greek mythology. Some bible scholars attempt to unearth and relate different writings from different civilizations and historic societies because of their striking resemblance (like the great flood in greek mythology and the great flood in the bible, etc., etc.) Some of them used metrical analysis and Etruscan to relate biblical accounts and passages viz-a-viz Etruscan records (already modern, if not sophisticated, civilization before Greek and Romans). By these methods, they suggested that the biblical Eve is the Pandora in Greek mythology.

The biblical Eve and Pandora of the Greek myth are thus far, NOT THE SAME and each coming from different records. They were just attempted to be correlated by some bible scholars but such method of study (metrical analysis and Etruscan) is not recommended without words of caution by the finest scholars.
