If the door isn't too textured, you can use a razor..the kind with one straight side that can be inserted into a handle and used to scrape paint and so forth (they will know what you're talking about at the hardware store...I don't remember the exact term for it). It works great on the tile and glass. Do it when the shower is dry. You'll get a little (or not so little!) pile of soap scum debris on the shower floor that you can just sweep up with a broom and dump in the garbage. After doing that (which is somewhat theraputic!), you can give it a once over with baking soda mixed into a paste with water, or another mild abrasive cleaner and rinse...it will be beautiful, it won't cost you much money, it is not bad for the environment and you will have had a great workout!

I use to own my own cleaning business and what i would do to get all the scum off the doors is,,,i would pull the doors out and place then in the shower (tube) then i would spray any kind of cleaner,,i like bleach cleaner then i would take a sos pad and soak it and try to get all of the soap off the pad then scrub both sides of the doors then rinse with very hot water i have a shower head that comes off the wall and i would spray the doors real well and the hot water will dry and leave no streaks...this is a great way to make your doors look bran new...most people never take the time out to remove the doors and clean them right and while the doors are off take a tooth brush to the door tracks works great also.........enjoy your clean doors...

"Lime Away" works good for that. It comes in a green spray bottle, much like a deal of windex, only the bottle is green. It will taken soap scum off of anything. Be sure not to get it in your eyes, it can do some damage to things like that.

Comet spray bathroom cleaner is amazing when it comes to soap scum and hard-water stains. Spray it on. You may have to let it sit for twenty minutes (or you may not). Stuff wipes off with a paper towel.

You can try Limeaway or CLR. They work great. White vinegar may do it too.
