the black may be mold

the only way to effectively kill mold is ammonia

I'd do the strongest ammonia and water mixture you could stand and a scrub brush, let it dry....then determine if you have to sand it out

you need to distinguish between a hardwood floor and some of the new thin wood coverings.
hardwood is an inch thick and you can work with it in a number of ways. some of the new wood colored finishes are 1/8 th inch thick and you cant sand them at all.

if the floor is hardwood , it probably has a very hard oil based finish . just use a little bleach in your wash water and it will no doubt kill the black fungi on the floor. just mop it right off.

if this floor has no finish on it , and is just bare wood , the urine has soaked into the wood . if this is the case, sand it out if possible. if its not practical to sand it out, have someone replace the hardwood.

if the floor has a water based finish on it, which lots of new floors do , use a combination of the two solutions above. first use bleach on it and then sand it and refinish it. if you dont have success with this method, have the wood replaced.

if the floor is one of the new thin coverings , it may have a very hard vinyl covering and you cant sand it at all. you may just have to live with it or have it replaced.

Lay a towel that you plan to never use as a towel again over the stain. Then heat up your clothing iron to about med high and iron over the towel several times. You may have to get it pretty hot and keep at it but that has worked for me with stains from glasses on kitchen tables before. Re-wetting and re-ironing may be needed to remove all the stain. This will probably remove the finish as well so when you have done all you can do this way, let it dry and put a couple of coats of polyurathane over it.

Soak that dog in soap and bleach water, then grasp him by the neck and use him as a mop to clean it up. Don't bother cleaning him up, just throw him outside and never let it in the house again.

Use natures miracle. Its the best stuff you can buy to get rid of pet urine. It takes about 2 days after you apply it & the smell is completely gone.

the floor needs to dry out first. the black, i think, is a wet spot. it will take a long time. after, you should be able to buff it with some wood preen or something along those lines.

The best way is probably to sand it down and re-varnish the floor in that area.
