Danica is right on the money. Divide the weeks by 4 since most months have 4 weeks in them, then the remainder is your weeks and days.

Actually - remember that there is only one month that has exactly 4 weeks. When we're using weeks, you have to remember that those few "extra" days at the end of the month add up. That's why 9 months of pregnancy adds up to 40 weeks and not 36. You can't just divide by 4 for an exact answer. Two months pregnant is more like 9 weeks instead of 8. If you calculate it that way you're right at 5 months.

Can't you count?
1 month= 4 weeks.
4+4+4+4+4= 5 months (20 weeks)
5 months + 2 weeks + 3 days= Where you are right now.

Good luck & congratulations.

Do you know math?? Divide the number of weeks by the number of weeks a month usually is , LIKE 4 weeks.

22 / 4 = 5 months and 2 weeks.

That would be 5 1/2 months, but if you go by it like that then it is almost 10 months when your baby is born. The weeks and the months don't add up the same... It is strange how it works.

5 1/2 months. (plus three days.)

Just think 4 weeks, 1 month
8 weeks, 2 months
12 weeks, 3 months
16 weeks, 4 months
20 weeks, 5 months

But pregnancy is better calculated in weeks. average is 38-40 weeks, so its over half way.
