i'd go with an older movie-maybe an early steve martin movie..the jerk, dead men don't wear plaid, the man with 2 brains, etc. or a mel brooks classic, young frankenstein, blazing saddles, etc.

Go old school and watch "A Fish Called Wanda" or maybe check out "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka" one of the first movies by the now famous Waylan Brothers

I suppose it depends on what kind of funny movie... like a clever funny or a stupid funny? Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is really good and funny. And Wet Hot American Summer is funny, too.
