Not just comedians, could you imagine a "white history month", "National Caucasian Student Fund", or "National Association of White People"?
There is a double standard.

You are not listening to the right comedians than. There are people like Ralphie May, Bobby Slayton, Todd Glass, Robert Schimmel almongst other who make fun of all races, to include black people and all the ones I've mention are white. But if you want to talk double standards, how about this. The Majority (95%) of comedians who get sitcoms are white. In fact, if it wasn't for the WB (defunct now) and especially UPN (defunct also), you wouldn't see many black comics at all. The loan one on the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) is Damon Wayans on ABC (My Wife and Kids). Bernie Mac was on Fox before being canned. And far less Latino comedians get a show (George Lopez). So when you are talking about who is making fun of who, just think who (as in race) is being represented on television.

It's part of being a comedian to make the crowd laugh, and if you watch Comic View on BET there are some white comedians that do talk about black people and BET is Black Entertainment so they're on their stage having fun so don't think of it that way but, like they say the truth hurts.

Yes anyone with half a brain can see that black comedians can make fun of anyone and white comedians can only make fun of white people or fat white people. I personally feel that fat people should start making fun of skinny people, starting with statements like " he was so skinny when he stood sideways and stuck his tongue out he looked like a zipper" or " he was so skinny he had to run around the shower to get wet" or "he was so skinny he had to be careful stepping over the sewer grate or he would fall in". And while you are talking about black comedians what is with them black comedians do they not know all of us white people are smart enough to know that they have black a-s-s-e-s. I mean come one do they really think that we think they have different colored butts. Have you ever heard a Chinese comedian say kiss my yellow a-s-s?So now who is the one who is stupid one.Seems all of us other colored people understand that each person has an a-s-s the same color as their face except for black people.

Yes, I totally agree with you! Although it is usually funny when black comedians make jokes pertaining to crazy white folk...yet if it were turned the other way around, you can be rest assured that accusations of racism would arise...even if done in jest, double standards obviously are in effect here..don't you think?

I think black people are more racist now than white people are.
Its like white ppl have to be so damn careful about what they say that could potentially be called racist but black people make fun of white people all the time. I'm not saying evreyone is this way but some.

Ha ha ha... what...? You come on right here to be *appreciated*...? What a loser. If you wish to try this you must traditionally near your account, begin a brand new one up with out telling anybody and begin totally afresh...? Cuz this identification is a fookin instruct break... severely. Personally even though... I'm no longer suggesting you do all of that... on account that despite the fact that I would possibly not find it irresistible, you being a pre-pubescent moron preaching love for the IRA simply to get again on the pesky English is the ONLY factor that makes you even remotely intriguing... and EVERYONE will get a say right here... adding you. That's why we get to learn such nonsense everyday.

Yeah, but that isn't necessary true in all cases, b/c I have seen plenty of white people making fun of the so called ghetto, black people, like that is how they portray black people. So really it is both. Funny is just funny, as long as there is no hate involved I don't care. All white people aren't nerdy, and all black people aren't ghetto. STEREOTYPES, BUT GOOD POINT!

what i dont like is the fact that the capitol one commercial voice overs are primarily white. the ones for identity theft. also in the movies, the dummy or *** is usually the white. and on comedy centeral, carlos is not white, he can get away with it. the jokes white people tell, are usually resrained more than the others.
my girlfriend cant say she wont date black people without being prejudice. or so the world seems to think. and i dont give a fart what the hell they say. i hate all yall! black white red green. i couldnt crap a big enough turd to give any bigot who calls me racist.
yeah, im racist, i hate the human race. die, you salt and filler meat sacks.
