Had a question for ya'll. My cousin was swimming in our pond out back the other night and I noticed a growth on his back.

Upon closer inspection I noticed that it was a huge raised bump with a little dimple in the middle and what looked liek a hair or something wavering around from within the dimple. It also feels kidna hard underneath, yet the skin is still soft!!! ITS WEIRD!

Freaky stuff, let me tall ya'. I told him to get it checked out becuase it could be herpes or something.

He does alot of traveling and I think he caught a cold or somethign like that on his vacations.

Please help!!! He is freaking out and doesn't want to freak out his fiancee!

What is this bump on his back?!?!?!

I touch it and the hair in the middle of the bump goes away!!!!!

Ok now this is very very freaky....

In an attempt to see what this really is, we cut the hair in the middle...woah bad idea...

What i thought was a hair is somehting totalyl differnt (we still aren't quite sure) but the whole thing just got sucked back into the bump, as if it was on recoil or something.....But thats not it....10 min later it was back out of the dimple again.

Weird.

We are going to the emergancy room very soon!!!! Please any info that you can tell so we can tell the docs!

Don't call a priest unless it has an eye in it. If it has a hair in it, it probably is some kind of ingrown hair, so see a doctor.

is it red, warm, swollen or painfull? It probably is an infected hair follicle, a boil, pop it and pump the puss out, clean it with alcohol.. OR is the center brown with no pain or redness, that would be a mole with precancerous tumor under it.... see a doctor.. OR is it flesh colored and soft? that would be a genitic fibrotic fat cell, it can be removed or not. those are harmless

Could be a cist from the sounds of it. Have him check with a dermatologist or his general physician.

If it isn't a mole or wart, then get him to a doctor and have it looked at.
