It would be a toss up between dog and spider you see there are only 2 spiecies on this planet with 8 legs, one is on land and one is at sea (octopuss) so the spider who is resposible for eating 40% of all the insects on earth would be my favorite and also there canibalistic so you usually never see more than one at a time because they eat the others. When you think you will only be dealing with one of those at a time and they keep the insects out of the house well there right up there with dogs who keep unwanteds out too.
