Like Cheryl said, it takes working on. Like any burning fire, you have to stir the coals and put a new log on once in a while. New places, old places where you used to make love, new underware. Try new activities together, or walks in the park, skinny dipping in the lake. You get the idea. It doesn't take much effort to get the fires blazing again. We watched a movie where a couple made it in a bathtub. It looked so romantic we decided to try it. We knocked her razor off the side of the tub, cut a long gash in her leg, and ended up in the ER. That was 30 yr ago, we still laugh about it. We also had a tradition of "christening" each new piece of furniture, or each room in a new home. Try naked video nights. Have fun ! Don't forget to laugh about things. We learned all this from a counceler after we "died down" after approx 10 yr.

You have to keep it exciting. Comfortable doesn't mean boring. I have comfortable shoes but they look sooooo good!

If you let things get boring and take each other for granted, love can die.

Marriage takes WORK and EFFORT, not just living under the same roof.

Some people take marriage for a big joke. When it is time for the both of u to say "I DO". You're standing in front of god. B/c in a marriage the bible is a road map. Don't go to a anybody & ask them questions about your marriage. U GO TO GOD FIRST & ASK THE QUESTIONS U NEED! TRUST ME HE WILL ANSWER ALL OF YOUR PRAYS! I do'nt think os.I know people who's been marriged for years & still love they're lover since the first day of they're marrige.

it doesn't have to, if you love and live each day as if you may not have another together you will find a closeness, and passion that will grow, and you may get even more comfortable, keep the doors of communication open, and romance each other.
