I have just fixed the exact same problem in my chest of drawers. The two sides were a bit wide and i had to prep both sides and use some wooden glue to fix it. Make sure youhave something heavy resting on top of the drawers while on its side to keep it glued together. I then had to glue all drawers to make sure they wouldnt come apart either. Use a lot of glue but make sure you have something heavy resting on it to keep the surfaces tightly together. Hope it helps

what is im skint?

Well I don't know if that is a rude comment or something about what you are wearing??

Anywhoo, you need to call a hardware store and ask them. Tell them that you have bought new ones before and that this is still happening. I wonder if they are installed properly? If you hired someone to install these--then you should call them and demand them to fix the problem.
The easiest and best conclusion for your dilemma, is that the tracks under your drawers are out of alignment. You need to make sure that the rollers are on track. Now I know not all drawers have the same, but this could definitely the big fix to your problem. I hope this helps. :)

Not sure what you mean..if you mean that the whole cupboard falls forward when you open the top ones then I know the answer. You may need to put the heavier clothes or items in the lower drawers and the lighter garments/objects in the top ones...like this...jeans and jumpers in the lower drawers..socks and jocks in the upper ones. That way the cupboard wont fall forward. Otherwise, maybe go to your local hardware store and ask if they have brackets to attach to the walls of the bedrooms and to the cupboard so it will be stable for you..good luck

The middle slide bar in the middle of the drawer was a good answer. Also you might try taking a long wood screw and leaving enough sticking out to help balance the drawers close to the Corners. I have had the same trouble and it helps considerably. Especaially when you have to cut corners because of the budget.

not completely sure what youre saying is wrong, but one thing is to pull out the drawer a ways and look under it. most drawers go along a center wooden rail. make sure the drawer is seated on this correctly and not sitting on top of it wobbling around.
this can happen from pulling the drawer out too far sometime and not getting it back in right.

I am(my fiancee and I)cabinet makers. You need to buy new runners for the wheels, and screw them into place, be sure you make them even or the draws wont fit back in. You need to measure and drill in each screw in exactly the same place. If you cant do that, the simpliest solution is to get a cabinet maker in to build you draws, they never ruin. Mine were built by a cabinet maker and the warranty is for ten years, in solid pine. It has been 20 years and they are still as good as new, except the odd candle burn ect..

This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.

Comfortable. I'm extremely flexible. I bend like Gumby. ...on second thought, sock drawer might be pushing it.
