I quickly reviewed your patent information -- what a great idea!
Associations may be a good avenue to explore. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links. I posted links to inventor's associations as well as those related to the toy/sporting industry.
Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can. Here are some book titles that are relevant:
* From Patent To Profit: Secrets & Strategies For The Successful Inventor, Third Edition by Bob Dematteis
* How to License Your Million Dollar Idea: Everything You Need To Know To Turn a Simple Idea into a Million Dollar Payday, 2nd Edition by Harvey Reese
* The Inventor's Bible: How to Market and License Your Brilliant Ideas by Ronald Louis Docie
* The Complete Idiot's Guide ® to Cashing in On Your Inventions by Richard Levy

There are plenty of free informational resources out there. Check the source box for links to articles.
Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

It depends on what your patent is. sometimes its worth it to get a marketing company involved to do a market search. Of course that is very expensive but if your patent is a big money Item it would be worth it. Sometimes its best to build it and sell it your self and hope someone comes along and buys the patent from you for big money. Its very hard to get a large manufacturing company to make your Item for you unless you can pay to have a lot of them made like an order for 10,000. Of course it still depends on what you have. I have a friend that built a small Item and had it patented and flew to China and had 500 pieces made at 7.00 each and advertised them on the web at 35 dollars each and sold out in 3 months so he had 5000 made and is still selling about 25.000$ worth every year and they only cost 3.00 apiece in Quantity

The best way would be to prove that people would actually buy it. Either sell a few of them, or reveal it at shows to get names of probable buyers.
