Yeah, I think Juliana is a very unique and pretty name. I have known one person to be named Juliana and she was really nice. It's a really cute name for a baby tell your aunt to name 3 people named Juliana and if she can't then tell her it is unique.

It is unique to the person that is so named "Juliana" So yes it is. The thing your aunt may mean is that it is a popular name..so I guess if that is what she means..then she is right.
Some names that are different and nice are.
Bryleigh, Alyssa and Tuscany...different and nice too :)

In my experience, part of what mothers mean when they say they want 'unique' names for their kids is that they don't want their child to share a name with a living relative. (This was frustrating to me as I was choosing names for my kids.) So, even if Mom liked the name 'Moon Unit', if the child would also have an 'Aunt Moon Unit', she would consider it 'not unique enough'!

(Trivia for those who don't know: Frank Zappa named his daughter Moon Unit! And, her brother, Dweezil!)

it is a pretty name......I understand about the whole unique name thing however tell your aunt that she needs to consider the child because as they grow kids and people are mean and cruel. My name is Dessely(Dess-Lee) and when I was a kid I HATED my name because NO ONE ever pronounced it right and kids in school teased me about it. But now that I am an adult I have grown to love my name and I am fortuneate that I have a name unlike most everyone else's name.

I knew a girl who named her video game character Julliana once. Other than that I've never heard the name before.
