it depends on what type of guy you are and how sincere you are...a poem is nothing if you're just reading poetry to try and impress someone, it should come from the heart (cliche but true...)

it depends on the type of girl it is... some do, some don't. if you do... it's better that you write it and not quote someone else's work. if she does like it, it will mean more comin from your mind and not someone else's. it shows that you think about her even when she isn't around.
