More than half my wardrobe is green.
I used to hear that if you wear green on Wednesday, you are horny... but I didn't know there was a day gay people wore green.
With my luck, that is the day I wear another color.

Ha! I never heard that one. But when I was a kid they used to say that Thursday was "fairy day." I wasn't as in touch with my sexuality then, so I didn't take offense.
Me, I don't wear a lot of green, but when I do, it's likely because it's what was clean today, or if I actually planned to wear green, it's St. Patrick's Day.

It was an old straight joke back in the sixties that gays wore green on Thursdays. It was kind of a put-down.

Well, someone just told me to start wearing green on Thursdays. I didn't realize it was a gay thing, though, as she was a straight girl. She was a bit of a faghag/fruitfly (whichever you prefer), so maybe that explains it.
Whatever. Part of why I like being queer is that I like being different, and I'm not going to change that so that I can dress like other people on Thursdays.

the only green day of the week thing i've ever heard is green on thursdays means you're horny, but thats not for gays only,althought i do see a lot of horny men on thursday. things that make ya go hmmmmmmmm!
