Dog was actually incarcerated for failure to report. He heard his buddy shoot someone else and didn't call it in. He spent 18 months in jail and got released. You don't have to be perfect to enforce the law.

Most bounty hunters ( bail enforcement agents) are not licensed. In those states that do there is little requirements.
In most areas they merely have to be employed by a bails bondmens. Some bounty hunters I have known in the past were on the shady side of the law. bounty hunting is hard dangerous work with little pay, long hours and work most people won't do.
Next to be a bails bondmens normally one merely has to have the money and be registered with the county they operate in.
Some states have more regulations.
Next what type of homicide, DUI, bar fight, many people after they serve thier time change and do all sorts of jobs.

Getting a license to be a bounty hunter is not it, he is a Bonds person working under someone elses name. If a Felon has done his time he could get a license, Bondsmen make money on other peoples mistakes, but sure glad they are there, coming up with the doe or sleeping in the slammer!

Rumor has it that some criminals are given the chance to do right by the community how true this is? I don't know it's like with drug counselors they are hired because they once were users so this is best for the recovering again I don't know but I say at least he's putting the bad guys and gals away.

Because it was many many years ago...and he turned his life around alot...if you watch the one with gili i think her name was...she was a bounty hunter with them, and then they had to hunt her down for running from the law, how could she go from catching fugitives to becoming one herself? People change.

He was wrongfully accused, sentenced, and imprisoned.
A year or two later he was cleared & let go.
