I'm sorry that I don't know how to fix your problem, but I just wanted to say, you're not alone! Mine is the same way. I hate it! It doesn't matter how good things are going, I just get so depressed & feel so terrible, physically & emotionally. Probably the only solution is to be put on some kind of anti-depressant but that would suck to do just because of our periods! Good luck with finding an answer, I hope there's something less extreme we could do!
I tried to reply back to you, but I couldn't. So here's a reply! My husband tries to do a little extra for me, he knows how I am. I've got a temper anyways sometimes, so when I get grumpy, he knows I'm sorry in advance. & I always end up apologizing later too! Good luck with your period & your boyfriend!

You really should talk to your doctor and see if there is some relief for you. The mood swings are from changes in hormone levels. I found when I got on birth control pills ( a very very low dose pill) it helped measurably. Taking a product like Aleve can help because you won't feel so crampy and irritable. Good luck. P.S. Try cutting back on salt so you don't get so bloated and drink lots of water to flush toxins from your system.

I have the same problem. One week before my period, I get really emotional. I either get really sad and cry for everything or I get bi*chy and take it out on my bf. It's normal that our hormones act up like that..lol, but I feel sorry for all the men who have to deal with it because if guys acted like that I dont think women like us would have the patience for them.LOL

Man..do i know how you feel..Yes this is all part of your hormones..it's also how you deal with your period. There's things to make you feel better though. Try doing something that relaxes you..that sends you a calming aura. Going to the beach, or thinking happy thoughts, you know? Reading helps for me, it gets my mind off of things. As well as a nice, loooong bath. Let's me have some to myself. As for the boyfriend thing, us women are not the only ones PMS-ing. Guys have days like that too. We just gotta learn to deal with all this.
I really hope this helps.
=)

It's all gonna be up to you. Just always remember that you're in control. You said you are aware that you are acting that way. When you are at that moment, take a deep breath and consciously regain a positive attitude.

I take Midol. But most importantly, I just ignore myself. I make up days. The first day is my happy day, I do things that make me happy. The second day is my safe day, I hang around people that make me feel secure. The third day is my 'I don't give a ****, this is me' day. I spend the whole day just being myself and accepting who I am. The next day is a peaceful day, etc...
