Don't listen to the BONEHEADS who say Limewire has spyware. Limewire contains no adware/spyware/malware at all! Too many ignorant people out there without the facts to back up their statements.

I love my Limewire to death but it does contain spyware. So if you do download it, which you should, then also download NoAdware because that will tell you where the spyware is located on your computer and you can kill it. You might have to run an update every other day.

No. Limewire contains a rediculous ammount of Spyware.
I personally use Ares lite, and I've never had a trouble.
And let's admit it, it's very very very unlikely that anyone will get nabbed for getting a few songs and putting them onto their computer.

Personally I say only if I am looking for music, programs and other itiems that I want and other users have that are willing to share for free.
If you can say yes then download it and enjoy. Be careful though like all good free things are some that are bad and do have viruses but a virus program will trump that. Enjoy

It works nice for music if you don't have a firewall blocking it! Also has tons of Trojans and Viruses on the software end.

Although you will not find as many "free" songs to download anymore. Several of them link to pay sites when you try to download.
