I go to guitar lessons and I pay about $80-$100 a month (depends if its a 4 week or a 5 week month). Like cool_rusti said, it's about $20-$25 a lesson for a 30 minute session. My guitar teacher has been playing for 10 years. He rocks.
Once you start taking lessons, remember to practice your butt off!

Learning to play an instrument takes work. If your child wants to become a good guitar player, they’re going to need to put in the effort, be patient and keep at it. They will also need to commit to doing “homework,” going over their lessons and practicing at home in between sessions. For young children, this takes extreme discipline. Does your child have the discipline to practice their guitar inside, while their friends are playing tag in the front yard? Ensure your child is ready to make a commitment before enrolling them in guitar lessons.

It depends on the school or instructor. There are instructors that can charge $15-60 depending on their experience and how long they have taught and how long the lessons are such as 45 minutes and how many lessons in a month or session.

it depends on where you go. some experts cost about 20$ per lesson....i am sure if you went to a college, you could find a good affordable teacher.
