Why are so many liberals below average in intellect?

I was born and raised in a very liberal community that is home to a large university where I obtained
a doctorate degree. Can you say Ward Churchill? I am aware of demographics relating to higher education. My question is a result of 30 years living in a liberal academic environment so I feel the question is a valid one. College does not equal intellect !!! If you are so inclined to trash me, do it with class and not cheap innuendo.

By the way, I am a registered democrat.

I think it is.... and you should look up the numbers on 'higher education' rates among liberals and conservatives.

Personally, I think both sides are getting very retarded.... but conservatives seem to be reaching the 'bottom of the barrel' because even Rush, Bill, Ann, and etc. have nothing more to offer their listeners other than insults and name calling. At least. Savage made up a 'disease'..... He's kind of funny.... but truthfully... I find conservatives to be moronic, mean, ignorant, and unwilling to compromise on anything except the good fortune of other human beings(meaning, they only care for themselves).

Liberals.... well... they're worse about talking before thinking... except they tend to have their heart in the right place.... I mean, even if they don't believe in it... they do vote for social reform and progression when it comes to "humanitarian" issues. It's funny, most liberals squirm at the thought of Religion(especially christianity) yet they tend to practice the teachings of Jesus(in theory) much more than a conservative.

Why are Conservatives so proud of this country?
Our country has done some awful things. It has left poor people to rot in a hurricane. This country outsourcers American jobs to save a buck. There is a large population of people who don’t have health care, but in Canada they have free healthcare. I just watched Oprahs series about schools in crisis and how awful some schoos have become. When we evacuated Americans out of Lebanon we had people signing promissary notes to pay back the ticket home when other countries evacuated their citizens no questions asked. We are a nation get fatter, dumber, greedier and more dangerous. We are the biggest producers of pollution, we are the largest drug consuming nation in the world. Democrats and Republicans have not solved any of these problems. So how can you be proud of this country? One story in particular that has really pissed me off was the HBO special on a animal humane rescue operation that showed how awful people treat dogs. It was sick! This Priest killed and tortured innocent animals.
