Keep what you have; Edge is an unknown quantity in this offense, which has every reason to throw the ball and very little to run it; Portis will no doubt have a significantly better season, as it took him a few games last year to finally click in this offense, and look how he wound up. He could sneak into the top 3 this year, even if the current "top 3" stay healthy.
I think Eli is better than Hasslebeck, but if you look at the divisions this year, Matt is going to have an easier way of it, while Eli will be facing tough D's almost the entire season. Manning may still wind up with better stats, but he'll have to play out of his mind to do so.
It's always tempting to pull the trigger on a blockbuster trade, but you drafted who you did for a reason, so just leave well enough alone. I'd be curious to see how the rest of your draft turned out.

I wouldn't do it, I'm more of a sure thing type of player, and Portis and Hasslebeck are both more of a sure thing. James is going to a new team with a totally new offense and a below average O-Line, and Eli still plays for a run first coach. Speaking of run first coaches, that's Joe Gibbs. He'll give Portis all the carries he wants and more. Hasslebeck is above average and plays in the weak NFC West. Think of the defenses (SF, Ari, StL), he'll tear them up just like last year
No deal

No, don't do it...
Clinton Portis is better than Edgerrin James, without a doubt in my mind. Last year, Portis ran for 1516 yards and 11 touchdowns on an offensively - depleted Redskins team. James ran for the same numbers on a great Indianapolis team. With the hiring of a proven offensive coordinator to the Redskins, expect Portis to bust out and increase his yardage and touchdown totals.
James is a question mark, though. He is going to a pass-happy offense, so it is unclear on how that will affect his play. The safe pick here is to stick with Clinton.
Matt Hasselbeck is also more proven than Eli Manning. Manning is good, don't get me wrong, but he hasn't proven that he can put up great stats for every game of an entire season. Hasselbeck has shown this capability for years, so he is also the safe pick. Manning has the greater potential, but are you willing to give up 24 touchdowns and just 9 picks so easily?
I know I wouldn't make this trade.
Don't make this trade.
Hope that helps.

Do not do this trade. Hasselbeck and Portis are acclimated to their offenses better than Eli and Edge, especially with Edge going to Arizona and Eli in a run-oriented offense that doesn't get imaginative in the passing game, so keep Portis and Hasselbeck

No! Edge doesn't have as good of an O-Line. Eli is still young, Hasslebeck had a great season last year, and is likely to match it.

pretty dead even:
I have Portis at #4 and Edge at #5/6
I rank Hassleback higher than Eli - only because I play in leagues with negatives for INT's - which Eli throws in great quantities.
Nobody is getting screwed here, it comes down to your own preference. I am guessing most people here will tell you to take it. I would not, simply because James is more of a question mark in ARZ.

Almost a wash!! I personally like Hassleback better than E. Manning because of his experience and playing in NFC West. Portis and Edge are dead even but Washington has a better O line.

I say that its a good trade because you pick up a good stud like Eli Manning who is with the Giants, the team who are supposed to have a good season this year. Plus, the most important player in the team IS the quarterback.

advantageous your getting a good tournament in Marshall for Johnson i think, magnificent as this is Marshall seems large! And Steve Smith is the suitable wideout interior the league with a a approaches better Jake Delhomme and previous starter David Carr waiting in line to toss him strikes down-field. he would be an excellent fantasy decision all twelve months. I consider the Westbrrok harm scare
