i have come into a whole bunch of things that look like converters and people tell me that there worth a lot of money at a recycling place if they are converters they all have different looks like one has 2 barrels. can u help?

No pictures but here is the facts. Expensive metals platinum and palladium are used in converters. MB converters are expensive because those people can afford expensive parts. GM converters use just as much precious metal. JUST getting it out of ceramic honeycomb could be a problem. Other by-products of combustion are carcinogens, So don't mess with it.
