You can put a fan in front of the refrigerator if you want to, just be prepared to pay a huge utility bill.

Here's a better idea. Put a bowl of ice in front of the fan. If you've got enough, put one behind the fan, as well. The fan will then push pre-cooled air over another cooling surface before it reaches you.

One other solution is to move to North Dakota.

the cooling capacity of a refrigerator isn't sufficient to cool even a closet, let alone a room. a block of ice can cool the air slightly, but it's not enough for a room. now a water cooler, such as is used in very dry climates, can cool a house, but it puts a high level of water in the air. it is nothing more then some water flowing over a strawlike material and air being pulled through the material by a fan. pulling the air is easy, trying to push the air throught the material wastes 90% of the cooling ability of the air going through the water as it is deflected away from the material. unless you live in a very dry climate, don't use this type of cooling because it will rot everything because of the high humidity it creates. a standard a/c unit works best, but costs much more to operate, than the previous methods.

b/c you are going to use so much electricity that you will cause a blackout...lol
get an air conditioner. that will use the same amount of electricity. or, go to the mall or grocery store.
