Driving under the influence (alcohol) and talking on cell phone both should be held on the same platform when it come to breaking the law, both are equally dangerous, talking on a cell phone in my opinion more commonly to cause problems, since there are more people doing this that drinking and driving. For example i have been ran off the road completely twice in the past year by people have been talking on cell phone they had merge in oncomming traffic and i have swerved to miss them, and yesterday my father was at a red light and a woman talking on a cell phone plowed into his car, totaling it. When the cops came all she got was a fine and is required to pay to have my dads care fixed, but if the situation contain alcohol the woman would have been arrested, i feel punishment should be just as harsh, just wondering other peopls thought on the matter.
