I personally think that the whole thing should be shown. Because stuff like that happens in the real world and worse stuff too.

1. Yes, many times.
2. It was a good movie, learned a lot about heroin and how the "drug system" works.
3. I feel good about it in schools. It would be good to show because of the consequences all three of them learn, trying to make a business and "just doing a little at a time" will get. Also with the mother taking her diet pills, she went absolutely crazy. And it would be a good movie because it's not one from 1960s black-and-white. It's down-to-earth.

I thought that it was a beautiful and haunting as well as disturbing film. The images stay with you for a long time. I would hope that if kids saw it they would think twice before starting up a drug habit as it realistically depicts drug addiction and its consequences in the film. Although I think that it is up to the kids and the parents to have an open dialog when it comes to sex and drugs. We need to be realistic and also to educate them on the dangers and hopefully they will make the right decision.

-own it
-like it alot....those off the wall movies are cool
-i have actually told alot of people that they should show this in schools, i think it would be good for them to see the ugly side of drugs...instead of just "say no to drugs"
-the movie is cool, it really shows the reality of what could happen.

Seen it, some of the coolest cinematography and editing in a really weird film.

I was engrossed and horrified.

If they edited out the "stag party" and "pimp" scenes, yes-good to creep out those kids...

The "arm" bit really freaked me out, J. Connely was outstanding and beautiful...
