Some people really fall for the BS coming out of the White House.

Shock and awe is the military doctrine of rapid dominance as defined by it's modern originators: Harlan K. Ullman and James P. Wade. I believe it is simply the modern incarnation of Nazi Germany's battlefield doctrine of Blitzkrieg which seems to be based upon the earlier doctrine of the massed calvary charge. Simply put it is the extremely rapid movement of overwhelming military might to decisively and quickly smash the enemy's line and continue into the rear areas. This rapid use and coordination of force will have a tremendous psychological impact on the enemy and destroys their will to resist.
I have to assume your statement about the "inhumane bombing of innocent human beings" refers to the recent loss of life in Israel's campaign in Lebanon. While their tactics certainly worked I do not think they are using "shock and awe" principles of warfare. If they were, Lebanon would have fallen in a day.

"Shock and Awe" means that the inhumane bombing was a fantastic show of firepower instead of saying, "Sorry" for the innocent victims.

It is a Bushism, what it makes him is the worlds worst terriorist. Can you immagine the terror in those peoples lives when we send plane after plane with so many bombs to bomb them for hours on end. Bush should be standing at ground zero for one of those bombs so he could experience it.
