Well, a water dragon isn't a gecko....it's a completely different kind of lizard. The lizard in the GIECO commercials is a day gecko.

I would guess Phelsuma madagascarensis grandis, otherwise known as a giant day gecko.

day gecko is correct, he is definately not a water dragon, they look alot like iguanas, not geckos

Yeah, I love how they suddenly changed his pattern and gave him an accent... But, regardless of what he said, he is most definitely supposed to be a day gecko... looks NOTHING like a water dragon.
