is there a place i can go to get actual globes of the inner planets that are detailed and are scale size?

I believe the Astronomy magazine "Sky and Telescope" sells these, and I know they have a web site, I just don't know what it is.

Try inquiring into globe manufacturers. I know they are, or were, available: I had globes of Earth, Mars, & the moon as a kid. Try doing a net search (maybe on Froogle.com) to locate them.
Makers of astronomical and/or educational supplies might be another route to try. Next time you're at a library or bookstore, try flipping thru an issue of Astronomy magazine.
