Too bad for you...600 dollars and no HD...pity.

Alright...I should be nice. You don't specifically need HDMI input for the PS3. AV will do just fine until you get a proper HDTV.

Personally, I'd wait until that price drops. Even if you buy the un-tricked-out PS3 at 500, it's still more expensive than a 360 AND a Gamecube. Besides, I hear first-generation Sony products suck anyway; loads of bugs. Get a Wii.

First of all, all the red, white , and yellow are not HiDef there are just regular standard definition. Why do you think games look really good on a regular TV using these cables then! HiDef cables include Component Cables and HDMI. Thankfully my TV has HDMI! :) But im not getting a PS3 it will make me poor for months!
