The nature of man can be changed, though not easily. Culture, education, government, and the media all do their part to gently nudge human nature in one direction or another. Humans can be barbaric without the proper societal supports, but we can also be quite civil. (Note I am talking about humans as a whole; individuals can vary quite widely.)
I don't know just HOW MUCH our nature can be changed though. Some qualities--e.g. hate, love, and opportunity-seeking--just seem biologically hard-wired into us. Sometimes a political or religious dogma will go against some aspect of human nature, and as a result will eventually fail. For instance, communism presupposes that every individual works and lives completely altruistically, solely for the good of others. Of course this is not how humans actually are, and as a result communism falls into dictatorship and corruption as soon as it's begun.

The nature of man--no it can not be changed. the nature of a man, I believe can be trained--it that man wants to be changed, or circumstances require a change.
Humanity, as a species, has shown throughout history that mans inhumanity against man will continue, despite the level of technology.
however, as the case of the man who was a white supremist who later became a Baptist minister with his ministry focusing on integration --there are many examples of individuals changing--due to personal, economic, ethical or physical motivators.

The nature of man is bent on evil, for the most part it will not change. We can be better, but never perfect. This is a fact, do you think toddlers are taught to lie, be greedy, and / or hit. Just watch its learned behavior, but things get worst before it may be better not perfect!

I believe man is already entering another stage of the evolutionary process and it is not going to be pretty, but we have to learn to accept it. Look at the amount of special needs teachers we require and request in America. Obviously we care more for our children today than to just keep them home or kick them out of school as in past generations. We want change to happen for the better.

That what we developing in relation with our "nature" is changeable at all means....essence, which is prime nature of Man unchangeable. It is Divine, thus unknown. That unchangeable nature makes possible all the changes to occur on a surface.

Who was it that said "There is only one constant in this universe, and that is change."? The Buddha, maybe...
And while the quotes are pouring out, Mahatma Ghandhi said
"BE the change you want to see in the world."
If humanity wants to change, it will.

Yes. It can be changed to a certain extent. However, as one grows older it becomes harder and harder to change.

Repentance means to change ones mind or heart. For what come from the mouth already was in the heart.
The word World in the bible means man's way of thinking.
The Nature of Man is Adam's way of doing things and so God said all right but I reserve the right to call out from among your seed to help me for my purpose.
And it was so.
(Act 26:20) But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and [then] to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
(Mar 6:12) And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
(Luk 17:3) Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
(Luk 17:4) And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
(Act 3:19) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
(Act 8:22) Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
(Act 17:30) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Its up to you or anyone to change their mind and go another direction. I choose Life.
(Jhn 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
To believe in is to do.
Accept Jesus and believe that he rose from the dead to accept your sins so that you may live. Repent, Be Baptized, receive the Holy Spirit and walk in a new life. Seek out a body of Christ and become a member of that church and work for God.
