There are different types of nail files, Go to CVS and ask them for the files that are used for buffing out your nails. The surface is very fine to give them a nice sheen.

Use can always invest in a good buffer and just buff you nails to a natural shine. It will smooth out the rough and uneven spots and make your nails just look even and healthy. Good luck!

Try a buffer! It has four sides, that will file, smooth, buff and polish your nails... and it is all natural! I love them. You can find them pretty much anywhere. Target, the Mall, etc. It looks just like a small cube and it is so easy and quick to use!

Use a smoother stick and then buff. The smoother stick will look like an emery board, but has a super fine grain on it. It actually sands off the rough parts, and you can get a super glossy shine with no polish.

A nail buffer is a great way to rid yourself of nail ridges.
And, unfortunately, there is no lotion that will get rid of nail ridges. Lotion only makes your skin and cuticles smoother.

I have used a product from a kiosk in the mall called the Dead Sea. It makes your nails smooth, shiny and tough. I love it.

A tiny bit of baby oil & a good buffing does the trick. I just let my nails grow too after years & years of biting them.
