Check the feedback of the seller. See if he has a high feedback rating-close to 100%. Also, check the feedback-find good feedback and click on the item number-hopefully it will be good feedback about those shoes. When you check the seller's feedback, it will show you how long he has been selling on ebay. If he has been selling on ebay for a long time with good feedback, the shoes are probably good. You can also do a search on completed items with that shoe in the search box. If you find that that seller has been selling that shoe for a long time with no bad feedback, they should be good. Email the seller to see if he has a money back guarantee.

You really have to watch out for fake Lacoste polos, as more than 50% sold on ebay are fake. But, Lacoste is not as expensive as other brands, and you are more likely to find real Lacoste shoes rather than polos. Ask the seller where it was made and ask where they got the shoes from, this can give you somewhat of an idea. Usually if fakes of anything are spotted they are taken off the auction, but then they do miss some. I have seen fake Louis Vuittons sold for a lot more than what they are worth... and not the AAA fake quality.

They should be real, but thats the risk u take when u order off ebay!!! Ask the person ur buyin them from an report them if they say there real an there not!

You never know....it is always a gamble. I have been lucky and the Lacoste stuff has been real.
