Ok, that's weird... I'm assuming you're a female so - who are you sharing a room with, and how do you get dressed/undressed? If you are NOT currently sharing with a sister, then you definitely need to have your own room.

I don't know how old you are but once you become a certain age privacy is mandatory. Talk to your Dad and explain the reasons why you feel you need to have your own room. Maybe both Mom and Dad should be present when you explain your feelings. Good Luck!

More discussion is needed . You mom and dad need to talk and agree to agree so that you do not play one against the other.
You need to talk to your dad and demonstrate responsibility.
Are you sharing a room now with younger brothers/sisters?
Is there and empty room for you to have for your own?
Are there going to be enough rooms for all the children to have their own rooms, or will some children always have to share.
You cannot expect your family to just go and buy a bigger house just because you want your own room.

Is there enough rooms?
I shared one room with two brothers no big deal.
Of course my sister had a room to herself.
I assume you are sharing a room with the same sex siblings. If not you must have your own room for the obvious reason.
Sharing makes a family closer and you learn to tolerate others better.

i think that you should try and prove to your dad now that u deserve your own room give him little signs that would make him realize such as play your music loud or try to keep you room now really clean for a while he'll come around.

Own room, d'oh.
Try to proove your father you deserve your own room and show that you're responsible. Maybe you can do your chores extra well, or get high grades at school.
Or use the killer blow that girls can tell their fathers:
"Young girls need their privacy, dad."
That should've done it.
