Have a romantic, candlelight dinner waiting for him as soon as he walks in the door. Put on something sexy and very romantic like a short dress (if you dont mind short stuff) and some high heels. Have soft music playing and have the house nice clean and dim. How about some roses on the table along with the meal and the candles? Just make him feel welcome and glad to be home. Make him feel special.

Get him tickets to something fun, sporting event, theater, music concert, doesn't matter as long as it is something he likes. Just don't tell him where you are going until you get there. It will mean more if you offer to do something he likes, even if you dont. For me it would be watching baseball, ugh! what a boring sport!
If you know what hotel and room he is staying in, have fresh cookies delivered from a local bakery so he knows you are thinking of him.

My boyfriend went to Oman for 7 weeks in our first few months together.
I made him an advent calendar to help him count his last few days there - there were silly, saucy and personal items in each window - anything to make him laugh or think of me - or both.
When he got back I made us a hamper - full of really special nibbly food things that would keep us going all weekend so we didn't have to go out..... I also added champagne and bubble bath etc....
Have fun.

Get a blank book and keep a journal of letters that you write to him and present it to him over a romantic home-cooked dinner.

A good romantic gesture after he comes back from his trip is to take him to his favorite place, then afterwards give him a massage. you don't want to do too much, but let him know you care for him.

im sure u know what his fav. things to do are...plan something that he would want to do with maybe his buddies...example:my guy likes a rock band named nirvana...i would get tickets to their concert....maybe ur guy likes football or soemthing im sure ull figure something out and make it special for him.
if u wanted to buy him something...then kindof figure out what he would like to have without really asking if..then u could get him something if wanted.

NO SEX!!!!! remember the song you guys danced to on your fist date? try to recreate that night with the exact song: save it for last though. no one else, just a private little dance with you and him. then watch the first movie you guys saw together. go to sleep in his arms.
