For the first time ever, Degrassi:TNG will air in America on the-n before airing on CTV in Canada. There will be 19 episodes in season 6 and it's unknown as of yet if there will be a 7th season. Rumor has it that they'll air two episodes a week this season (possibly only on CTV).
The-N episodes start on October 6th, 2006
CTV episodes start on November 6th, 2006

We'll get to follow the graduates (paige, marco, ellie, etc.) to college
Ellie has a hot romance with an older man
There will be a new character, a 16yr old single mom
Jimmy explores his sexuality
A tragic accident leads one student to jail
Ashley and Sean return
Hazel leaves the show, so does Joey. Hazel will guest star though
A main character MAY die
Craig comes back to degrassi
A social networking site becomes dangerous
There will be a drag racing plot
Jay will show more of his good side
